Banana Bread
Prep time – 20 minutes

Ingredients
- 125g Butter
- ½ cup Soft Brown Sugar
- ½ cup Caster Sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cup Standard Grade Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 cup Fresh Milk
- 2 bananas (ripe), mashed
- ¼ cup walnuts, chopped
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C bake. Grease and line a 25cm loaf pan.
- Beat Butter and sugars together until pale and creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Sift in Standard Grade Flour, Baking Powder, and cinnamon.
- Dissolve Baking Soda in Fresh Milk. Add to creamed butter mixture with bananas and walnuts. Mix together.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour or until a skewer comes out clean.
